A struck iron coin of the Drûl, a single tooth set where a portrait would be.
- Description
- A Drûl coin, hammer-struck from the same black iron as MA·2019.111. Where a sovereign's effigy would sit, a single tooth is set into the metal: the Drûl figure their rulers by relic rather than by likeness. The denomination is not known.
- Provenance
- War-spoil of the same engagement as the reliquary.
- Condition
- Worn with circulation, and faintly warm, as the iron of these makers tends to be.
- Handling
- Restricted display, as the coin of a hostile power; otherwise unremarkable to keep.
