A struck iron coin of the Drûl, a single tooth set where a portrait would be.

Description

A Drûl coin, hammer-struck from the same black iron as MA·2019.111. Where a sovereign's effigy would sit, a single tooth is set into the metal: the Drûl figure their rulers by relic rather than by likeness. The denomination is not known.

Provenance

War-spoil of the same engagement as the reliquary.

Condition

Worn with circulation, and faintly warm, as the iron of these makers tends to be.

Handling

Restricted display, as the coin of a hostile power; otherwise unremarkable to keep.
