The contracts below are real. They are billed, where billing is possible. They are governed, where the law reaches. This ledger exists one layer beneath the archive, is not listed in the archive index, and is reachable only by following a link from within an article — which is to say: it is reachable only by someone who was already reading too closely. You qualify.

There are believed to be further contracts that are unreportable even to this ledger. They are recorded in drawer 7, which is warm, and which is to remain shut. Their existence is acknowledged. Their terms are not. We are, on balance, glad about this.
