Use the ETCSL translation if you can reach it, and compare with older printed versions. Then read the notes around manuscript variation. If a website gives one smooth King List and no apparatus, treat it as a poster, not a working document.

My local radio guy says the Anunnaki are returning in 2003. Is that Sitchin or just radio?

That is radio discovering that dates sell. The texts do not become more accurate because a microphone found them.

There is no Sumerian countdown to a 2003 return of the Anunnaki. If a date is being sold, ask for tablet number, line number, edition and translation. Watch how fast the certainty becomes smoke.

Return-date prophecy is where ancient-astronaut material leaves philology and enters social control. A date creates urgency, urgency creates dependence, dependence creates an audience that can be monetised or steered.

Not every date is a grift. Some people are genuinely scared.

Fear can be sincere and still be used badly. A frightened person deserves care; the claim frightening them still deserves the knife.

My uncle has moved from 2003 return to "scholars hid the return." I asked for the line number and he called me establishment. That was faster than expected.
