Research Sharing — Partner AUREATE
What the programme shares with its one external scholarly partner, what it withholds, and the items currently on loan. The partner is referred to internally only by codename.
1.0 The Partner
The programme maintains a single external research-sharing arrangement, with a civilian scholarly collection that has the expertise to study recovered objects the programme cannot, and the discretion to do so quietly. The partner is referred to internally only by codename — AUREATE — and never by its public identity in programme traffic. Externally it accessions under the prefixes the programme knows as the Athenaeum and the Aurei; internally, both are AUREATE.
The arrangement is asymmetric and deliberately so. AUREATE receives selected non-hazardous material and the scholarship that goes with it. It does not receive the programme's operational core, and it does not ask.
2.0 What Is Shared, and What Is Not
- Shared — inert artefacts. Recovered objects with no energetic or charge hazard: stone, worked metal, survey samples. The Colonnade Fragment from GG-D2 is the type case, held on open loan for display and study.
- Shared — survey scholarship. Sanitised imagery, environmental data, and material analysis from surveyed destinations, stripped of bearings, dial procedure, and anything that would let a reader reach a place.
- Withheld — energetic materiel. Everything under IRONWRIGHT. Drûl energy weapons never leave the vault and are never described to AUREATE in working detail.
- Withheld — dial doctrine. The bearing-and-lock procedure and the dialling discipline. The lock is a mental act; a procedure shared is a procedure that can be carried.
- Withheld — charged hazards. Objects that fight an operator. The Ashfall Reliquary is accessioned with AUREATE but held under sealed-study terms, off display, because it orients overnight toward the floor — it is pointing home.

The register is append-only and mirrors the discipline of the Destination Registry: nothing is removed; recall changes status, not the row.
