An old petrol rotary lawnmower converted with a homemade magnet-motor where the engine was, a small box of coils bolted on top, on a very neatly mown lawn.
THE MK IV on the back lawn. note: NO petrol cap. note: NO flex. it just GOES.

IT MOWS THE LAWN ON FREE ENERGY!

I took an ordinary rotary mower, I removed the dirty petrol engine, and I fitted my own MAGNET MOTOR run off one of my Free Energy Batteries. No petrol. No extension lead. No charging. You push it, the blade spins, the lawn gets cut, and the battery does NOT go down, because where would the energy come FROM, they ask — from the SAME PLACE IT ALWAYS COMES FROM, I say, which is AROUND US, ALL THE TIME, for FREE.

DOES IT WORK?

YES. (Sort of.) I will be honest with you because I am not a salesman:

  • ✓ cuts a beautiful straight stripe, my lawn is the envy of the close
  • ✓ never needs petrol, never needs charging, has run since 1996
  • ✗ it is SLOW. it mows at the speed of a gentle walk and not a step faster, no matter how you push
  • ✗ it WILL NOT mow in the shade of the big conifer. nobody knows why. I have a theory. the theory is on the perpetual motion page
  • ✗ it hums a note. an E flat, my neighbour says, and she plays the organ so she would know
"Cyril's lawnmower is harmless and the lawn is lovely." — my friend Carol, the resonance lady (she says the E flat is the machine being HAPPY)

BUILD IT YOURSELF (FREE):

Strip the mower. Mount the magnet motor on the old engine plate (I will not lie, you want it BALANCED or it walks across the lawn on its own, I lost an afternoon to that). Wire it to the battery. The magnets I cannot fully describe here — the ARRANGEMENT is the whole secret and the last time I drew it out in full a man from the council came about my "shed" which I do not have a shed, I have a GARAGE. Ask in Dale's guestbook with the phrase and I will tell a sound person the rest.
