It's been four days now. The news is starting to pick this up but they're treating it like a curiosity or a hoax. They're interviewing crackpots on the one hand and military spokespeople on the other. The military says nothing and nothing. Luke AFB won't comment. The FAA won't comment. But I was there. I saw it. Thousands of us saw it. The silence from the authorities is almost more frightening than the thing itself. Where is the explanation? What happened to us?

Prescott area resident here. My father is a retired Air Force mechanic. Even he can't explain what we saw. He said it's the most advanced thing he's ever heard described, and he's worked on classified aircraft. That's all he'll say about it. He won't talk anymore. That terrifies me more than the actual sighting.

I now have 157 witness reports documented and verified. The consistency of the accounts is striking. The formation, the V or boomerang shape, the northwest-to-southeast trajectory, the silence, the duration of approximately 20-30 minutes from first sighting in Prescott to last confirmed sighting in Tucson. The color descriptions vary somewhat -- witnesses report purple, white, orange, and amber lights -- but the shape and movement are remarkably consistent. This is not a hoax. This is not a weather balloon. This is not swamp gas. Something happened over Arizona on the evening of March 13th, 1997. We need answers.

One week on. Luke AFB is still silent. The FAA has offered no radar data. The military has offered nothing but non-answers. The public record will show nothing. But I'll tell you what I know: if it was military hardware, they're covering it up. If it wasn't military hardware, they don't know what it was and they're covering that up too. Either way, the radar question is the key. I've filed a FOIA request. It will take months. But the radar data exists. Somewhere in Arizona, on the night of March 13th, something large and slow-moving crossed the sky. And someone has the proof.

I was north of downtown when it happened. Clear night, I saw it move across the whole damn sky -- this massive dark shape, maybe 300 feet across, just sliding over the city at maybe 300 mph. No sound. Not one sound. And now the governor is MOCKING us. That press conference was insulting. We saw something real and he sends out a guy in a rubber mask. I have never been so angry in my life.

I'm not saying you didn't see anything. I'm just saying -- was it one event or two? Because I've been reading the accounts and the times don't line up. Some people say 8:30 pm, some say 10:00 pm. If the military was doing flares at 10, and if people are getting those mixed up with what they saw earlier, then the flare explanation might be RIGHT for that part. That would actually make the 8:30 sighting MORE credible, not less. Has anyone separated the two events yet?

Occams makes a point. I have been collecting witness statements for MUFON and the timeline is CRITICAL. I am sending FOIA requests to Luke Air Force Base and the Maryland Air National Guard today. We need to know: when exactly were flares deployed, what kind, what altitude, what duration. If we can establish the flare window precisely, we can compare it to witness observations. This is real investigative work. It will take months but we will know the truth.

I live in Ahwatukee and I saw the 10 pm lights. They were definitely flares. I have family in the military and they explained it to me -- the Guard drops illumination flares all the time on the range. What else would move like that, in that pattern, for that long? The earlier sighting is something else, I don't know what, but the 10 pm was flares and I'm not ashamed to say so.
