There it is. The outside ecosystem strips caution first because caution is not viral. The claim now has two lives: what Dan wrote and what people can use Dan for.

Yes, in some collection contexts. Also meteorite, lunar, satellite-return, contamination-control, and plain bad prose. That is why one phrase is a doorway, not a room.
