I closed the window. I drank water. I woke my sister and told her I was scared, not the whole thing, just that much. She is in the kitchen making toast and acting annoyed in the normal way, which is helping more than I expected.

The instructions are still buzzing at the edge of everything, but I am not doing the next one. Not tonight. Please keep talking like this. It makes the room feel less tilted.

Checking back. I made the toast like I said, then sat with my sister until she stopped shaking.

A lot of it works by suggestion: symbols repeat, people notice matches, and the matches start to feel aimed at them. That can be meaningful without being literal instruction.

Practical check: eat something with salt, drink water, sleep before making vows, and do not drive if you have been awake all night.

If you hear a voice telling you to hurt yourself or prove devotion, call a real person and stay in a lit room.
