If you have a question or want to submit sample material,
Send a short message with your name, the title of your work, the type of material you are offering, and the format of the file. If you are attaching a manuscript, include a plain text file and indicate whether you can also provide WordPerfect or Word files.
Use a clear subject line, for example:
Query: THE SUMMER WINDOW, fiction, Jane Smith
If you are not sure what format to send, ask first. We will tell you whether the editor prefers email, disk, or printed copy.
