Day five of the kitchen-to-bookshelf move. Results so far: husband answers slower, daughter now takes calls standing beside the cereal cupboard for no reason, mother-in-law asked if we were redecorating and then accused me of hiding dust.
Not science. But the arguments have moved about six feet, which is annoying because I wanted nothing to happen.

good trims. revised seven day test: move base from window to neutral ugly location, do not announce, keep handset habits same, log ring-to-answer, first room of contradiction, and whether apology words happen before or after looking outside.
control week should be base back at window with same notebook hidden in plain sight. not proving obedience rays. mapping where the house asks for the good voice.
