So the terrifying secret army is exhausted guys with bad knees, classified helmets, and medical files nobody can find.

Somehow that sounds more believable than laser eyes. Follow the disability claims and the missing training records. The monster is probably wearing a brace.

The frame is getting tighter. Not a new species, not a mythic commando, but an external nervous system bolted around a tired human.

Sensors read the body, software predicts failure, command gets a cleaner picture, and the soldier becomes one node in a managed reflex.

Then ask for records that survive the sales pitch. VA disability claims, follow-up exams, neuropsych referrals, sleep-clinic notes, endocrine panels, hearing loss, tremor, anxiety, unexplained pain.

If a program touched bodies, it left aftercare somewhere.

Programs like this do not vanish. They get renamed, reclassified, split between offices, and buried under procurement language.

The administrative paper trail will be travel orders, medical waivers, training rosters, mishap reports, sole-source justifications, and budget lines no one wants to explain.

Drop the breeding fantasy. It is pulp genetics and it makes serious inquiry look ridiculous.

The real incentives point to selection, conditioning, drugs, implants, armour, surveillance, and command integration. That is ugly enough without inventing dynasties.

Procurement is where the monster shows its joins. Watch for sensor fusion, helmet displays, night optics, bio-telemetry, load-bearing frames, powered-assist joints, rugged batteries, and tactical data links.

The HUD and exoskeleton pieces will be bought separately before anyone admits they belong together.

Do not forget the older appetite. MKULTRA was not one project so much as a permission structure.

Once an institution learns to ask what can be done to a mind under cover of national security, it keeps asking in new vocabulary.

Has anyone pulled inspector-general material? I want complaints, audit summaries, hotline referrals, contractor oversight findings, medical-consent disputes, and closed investigations with bland titles.

If there is abuse, the cleanest surviving language may be bureaucratic.
