A door can be a strong symbol without becoming a command.

Symbols invite attention. Commands demand obedience. I would keep those separate before deciding what this experience means.

Repeating numbers can mark attention, but they do not automatically appoint a date, deadline, or authority.

I want to name a hard thing. A message can feel loving and still function coercively.
