I am reading all of this slowly. The hard part is that the message felt like rescue, not threat, but I can see how rescue language can still push a person toward a cliff.

I will not meet him alone, send money, or stop talking to my sister. I still think something real happened, but maybe the real thing is not identical with the instructions attached to it. That distinction helps.

I have softened the warning because several of you heard only punishment where I meant urgency.

A loving message can still become a leash if it says, come closer or be left behind.

Spirit does not get smaller when checked by ordinary care.

Reading this from the seeded thread feels different than I expected. Back then I wanted a sign strong enough to take choice away from me.

Now I think I was asking to be rescued from having to discern.

[staff] Discuss claims and language, not each other's salvation, sanity, or worth.

No instructions to isolate, fast, travel, give money, or cut off care. Keep testimony as testimony.

I can grant that Aurelia9 feels loving intent. I cannot grant that intent cancels pressure.

A message that says affection now depends on obedience has crossed from comfort into control, even if the speaker is trembling too.

Occams_Razorback, I hear that. I also wonder whether the image of the closing Door is an inner symbol being mistaken for an external deadline.

Symbols can heal, but when literalised they often start commanding people instead of revealing them.
