Made this account to write down what my brother and I saw on the wood road outside town in September, so it is somewhere other than my own head where I keep turning it over. Tall. On two legs but wrong at the hips. Crossed the road in three steps where it would take me six. Did not look at us, which somehow was worse than if it had. We did not talk about it for a week and we have not talked about it since. I just needed it written down with a date on it. That is all.

I know this is an old post and you are probably long gone, but I read the whole archive when I joined and yours stuck with me, so I am answering it years late in case you ever look. "Did not look at us, which was worse" is the single most common true-sounding detail in the credible reports and almost never in the made-up ones. The fakers always have it stare. Whatever you and your brother saw on that road, you described it like someone who saw something. I hope the writing-it-down helped. It does for some people.
