Norwegian, far north, and i mostly appear on this board in the dark half of the year, which up here is a serious amount of dark. i talk cold-weather kit and i am blunt about it because the polite American version of this advice gets people killed. cotton is death. wool is life. i will be gone again by May, when the sun comes back and i stop thinking about minus twenty.
