Thirty years on the Nazca pampa, mostly on foot. I come to this board for exactly one reason: to stamp out the word "runway" wherever it appears, like a small grass fire. I will talk drainage, ritual pathway, alignment, the geoglyph-as-walked-prayer. I will not talk landing strips. Not a runway. Never a runway.
