This thread is for a running list of field contacts in each state -- people who will investigate local sightings, coordinate research, and share case files. If you are willing to be listed, post your state, county/region, what you will do (field investigation, file review, meetup coordination, FOIA liaison), and how you prefer to be reached.

Rules: no phone numbers without permission -- email or a mailing address only. If you post a contact, assume strangers will write to you; respond professionally or do not post. If you meet someone for a field investigation, meet in public first, do not show up alone at a witness's property, bring a notebook and a camera. This is not a dating site and not a place to recruit for groups. Keep it professional and focused on the sightings.

I will start. COLORADO: Gail, MUFON field investigator, Colorado Springs area, email only, El Paso and Teller counties, can travel for multi-state work, 47 cases investigated. Still need contacts in Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico. Post if you are willing.

I am in Arizona, Pinal County, rural area between Phoenix and Tucson. Tracking local sightings informally for three years. Willing to list for Arizona, email preferred, can do Pinal and travel to Pima and Maricopa for significant cases. I have documentation on five sightings since 1995 -- one witnessed by a county sheriff's deputy. Still trying to get the department's report through FOIA; the county is slow.

DesertGlass, thank you, adding you to the Arizona list. If you need help with the FOIA on the sheriff's report, I have done several and I know which forms work. The deputy-witness case sounds significant -- if you want to share the file, I can cross-reference it against other Southwest cases. Still need Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico north and south.

Southern New Mexico, Doña Ana County near Las Cruces. I run cattle and I have found dead animals this past year -- not predator kills, something else. Willing to cover southern New Mexico (Doña Ana, Luna, Otero), email preferred. Interested in livestock cases and would like to coordinate with other ranchers who have seen this.

Both added, thank you. Cody, the livestock cases are important and underreported -- if you have photos or documentation please share, and I can put you in touch with a researcher in Colorado tracking livestock cases in the Four Corners. Updated list now covers Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico north and south. Still need Wyoming, Utah, and everywhere else.

Utah, Salt Lake County. I am a researcher, not a field investigator, but I will coordinate research and FOIA requests for Utah cases, email preferred. I can point you to historical documents and case files in the University of Utah library system.
