still here. still not sleeping right. I have read the whole thread twice now. I KNOW my photo is a stump. but keeping the written account dated, like Squatch said, helped more than anyone debunking the stump did, and I wanted to come back and say that instead of just vanishing the way scared people do. I think I am okay. I think I might even go back, in daylight, with people. small steps.

PARABOLIC RESULTS, as promised, and the overstep made me honest so here is all of it. Two stations, time-synced, on K7's gear. We caught ONE clean triple-transient on night four and triangulated it to a point ~220m NNE up the slope -- steep timber, no road, no logging scheduled, nobody's woodpile. That is NOT proof of an animal. It is proof the SOURCE sits where the bearing always pointed and that it is not a neighbour with an axe. Map below; Annie has the WAVs. The most solid thing I have ever posted, and it is still, in the end, a coordinate and a question.

A coordinate with no road and no woodpile is worth more than every blurry photo in this subforum stacked together -- and Squatch earned it by binning his own footprint first. That is the method, start to finish. I still do not know what makes that knock. But now I know WHERE, on night four, at least once, it was made, and that it was made somewhere a person had no business standing. That is not an answer. It is a better question than we started four pages ago with, and a better question is the only thing this board has ever actually produced. Onward. Page 9 when we have it.
