You can fake quite a lot if you are smart and you care about the work. I do not know if that is what happened. But I would not say "you can't fake that." People overestimate their own skepticism when they see something impressive.

I think we have landed where we will land. The limb proportions and the gait are genuinely hard to explain as a costume. The chain of custody and the lack of a body are genuinely hard to explain as a real creature. Both sides have a point. The film is interesting. It is not definitive. And that is where it will stay. I appreciate the honest discussion.
