Oh dear, you're all making me feel better about my choices. I'm back with "Rebecca" by du Maurier for probably the hundredth time -- there's something about settling in with an old friend that feels right as the year winds down. First line still gives me chills after all these years. Mrs. Danvers will never not frighten me just a little. Hope you all find your favorite escapes this week, whatever they turn out to be..
