[staff] Welcome to PARALLAX. Read this once and you never have to read it again. We are not GLP and we are not a debunking club; we are the place that writes the date down. The rules are short because none of us has time to be your parent.

ONE. Extraordinary claims, ordinary standards. You may believe anything. You may not assert it as fact without something a stranger could check. "A source told me" is a story, and stories are welcome, clearly labelled as stories.

TWO. Do not use this board to threaten people, publish private details, organise raids, talk anyone into a crime, or drag fights here from somewhere else. If staff has to step in on that, it will be brief and unpleasant.

THREE. Hoaxing is a permanent ban. Not a warning. A ban. The one thing this board cannot survive is manufactured evidence, so we treat it the way a machine room treats a fire.

FOUR. Accusing every poster who disagrees with you of being a fed is not research. If you start naming members as agents, employers, handlers, or targets, you have left argument and entered harassment. We know who the tireless accusers are. So do you.

FIVE. Show your denominator. If you logged a hit, you logged the misses too, and we want both.

That is the whole constitution. Nobody here agrees with anybody about anything, and that is the design, not a flaw. Now go and argue properly. -- SkepWell, for the staff.
