The Wend Mirror
A standing mirror that returns the room a measured moment late.
- Description
- A standing mirror in a plain dark frame. Its reflection lags the room by a fixed interval — long enough to notice, short enough to doubt. Movement in the glass completes after the movement that caused it.
- Provenance
- Recovered from Wend, Local Minus 3, the inverse adjacency. Catalogued reversed, as that universe is; the lag is measured forward against the Meridian Standard.
- Condition
- Stable. The interval has not drifted. Readers are asked not to use the mirror to confirm that they are still present.
- Handling
- Restricted. Viewed singly, under supervision; not to be set opposite any other reflective surface in the collection.
